And who was waiting for more? For years in Lentini not seen an exhibition of art. And perhaps if they had never seen so fine. Yet it happened. On 7 and 8 December, the day consecrated to the Immaculate, charming rooms of the palace Magnano San Lio, in Via Garibaldi, you are open to the public for the exhibition of some paintings and photographs of six young and interesting artists and lentinesi carlentinesi. A magic: the authors of the unexpected, high level organization flawless. The title: "Young artists of our territory", the curator: Damiana Vinci. And Damiana is the first stunning surprise: a young lentinese "suited" to organize events and enhance the artistic resources of the territory. Among other things, able to convince administrators and Carlton Lentini to sponsor the event and to include two musical moments that just made event: during the first evening a concert of a jazz quartet Cattano Charles (sax) , Safe Love (guitar), Philip Di Pietro (bass) and Franco Farchica (drums) in the second, the presentation of a string quartet composed Noemi La Cava (violin), Anna Virzi (violin), Matt Blunt (purple) and Bruno Crinò (cello).
Prima sala: Giuliana Piccolo. Presentava opere di straordinario effetto, in cui il segno è tracciato “bruciando” la tela nera con la varechina ed è sottolineato con corde di cera nera. Opere di inenarrabile musicalità.
La seconda sala ospitava le opere fotografiche in bianco e nero di due artiste di grande capacità di suggestione: Maria Costanzo Valentina Marino, both graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania, both with experience in other fields of art (painting, decorating, graphics), both use the camera to capture the soul, dreams, anxieties and expectations of our day. But talk about themes, moods, different experiences, different languages \u200b\u200band with sensitivity: why they were together. In the third room displays
Christian Elder: painting technique and aesthetic figure out of the ordinary, refined, spiritual, charmer. A small but nice young man and artist of the highest level. He also graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania.
Guest of the fourth room was Astone Veronica, the youngest of the group (all, however, under thirty years). Exhibits a series of works that, gently, says in his often raucous debate, superficial and screamed on cultures and physical features different from those of Europe. Beautiful faces of women and children of color, telling humanity, suffering, gentleness.
last room exposed Alessandra Nastasi. The only self-taught, but she also has great technical and expressive power. His favorite subjects are cityscapes, which gives it great charm and atmosphere of nature, in particular roses, which manages to smell and sensitivity of velvety petals.
Thanks, Damiana, for this exhibition and the artists that have made us know. And well arrived. In our area we need art and beauty like you.
