The bubble of stupidity
First of all, they stoned consumers and voters. At first it was easy: some ass, some tit, advertising and strip, and the plant has grown lush stupidity.
Investments in stupidity gave big profits, which - in part - could be reused to stupefy even more consumers and voters. It was a positive reaction system, in which the effects strengthened the cause that produces them. The stupidity and seemed destined to increase profits without end.
But the real systems have some constraints, which are not considered as a first approximation, but which determine the trend.
The first constraint is that the growth of stupidity is not linear, can not say crescere all'infinito.
But even this is enough to find - if not the old money - at least one equilibrium point, because it is lurking in a second constraint: a fool can not produce wealth, can only dispel what he has in telemarketing, pay-TV and scratch win. And then here is that the stupid are no longer able to ensure that flow of money that first supported the growth of the system and even forget to vote.
The reaction has therefore changed the sign is now negative: the efforts to rincitrullire not they pay more, they're a waste. We've reached the point where investing in stupidity not only costs more than it can get, but it also happens that the accumulated stupidity over the years has reached a critical mass capable of blocking the system.
And then the system falls apart: who uses it does not get anything by the exploited and exploited - in their idiotic recklessness - or do not know where they are precipitated or why, much less how to get out.
-------------------------
The same concept is also on the daily show today: "When the thieves come to 51% begin to steal from each other and the system implodes. "
